Store Manager
This position reports to the State Sales Manager. The position is responsible for all aspects of running the store, including:,
- Maintaining customer care standards
- Achieving sales, wages and shrinkage budgets
- Human Resource development issues and staff supervision
- Attendance and organisation of merchandising workshops
- Management of the store stocktake process
- Preparation of monthly rosters costed to achieve the store budgets
- Stock management - including unpacking, processing and movement of stock, ensuring refills are actioned promptly and accurately
- Supporting the State Manager to ensure store and company objectives are achieved, in line with financial and operational targets
Assistant Store Manager
As a member of the store team, this position reports to the Store Manager.The position responsibilities include supporting the Store Manager inall aspects of running the store, including:
- Maintaining customer care standards
- Achieving sales, wages and shrinkage budgets
- Staff Supervision
- Assisting in merchandising workshops
- Assisting in the stocktake process
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly rosters costed to achieve the store budgets
- Assisting in the stock management processes - ie unpacking, processing and movement of stock
- Supporting the Store Manager to ensure store and company objectives are achieved, in line with financial and operational targets
Retail Sales Assistant
As a member of the in store team, this position reports to the Store Manager. The position responsibilities include:
- Assisting each customer in making purchases that satisfy their needs
- Working with the team to achieve sales and other store objectives
- Assisting with non-selling duties, such as housekeeping, stock refills, unpacking and sorting of stock etc
- A full-timer may also be developed to move into the store management stream, and may undertake further duties which include responsibility for specific areas of the store
